Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's Bow-Tique Review

We were send a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Minnie's Bow-Tique to review.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is one of those shows that you can't help but like. Not only does it feature some of our favourite Disney characters, but it's also educational and fun. Baby Boy loves the show and will sit in rapt attention shouting for Toodles when required and helping solve the issues that the Clubhouse gang meet. As keen Disney fans we often have Playhouse Disney (soon to be Disney Junior) on, and have seen adverts for the British Television premiere of Minnie's Bow-Tique this coming Saturday (19th March 2011) as part of March being Minnie Month (which you can read about on the facebook page if you want).

We were lucky enough to be sent a preview copy of the episode from the lovely people at Disney (who are now Top Ender and Baby Boy's favourite people in the world) and after Top Ender had gone to School, Baby Boy and I snuggled on the Den sofa to watch the episode. As you may of guessed bow wearing Minnie has come up with a plan to open up a Bow-Tique (That's a shop that sells bows you know) and all her friends (Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Clarabelle) are invited to come to the opening.

As usual there is the need for some mousekatools from Toodles, (as Minnie asks the viewer to help her out with her problem solving and decision making) and a really cute little song about the Bow-Tique, which I am still humming now. Pete is being sneaky (but only because he is nervous as he has never brought a bow before and needs to buy one for his Aunt Mabel) and the rest of the gang show support to Minnie's new venture. Baby Boy loved the episode and even I had a giggle at some of the jokes in the story and I didn't mind when Baby Boy asked to watch the episode again... although I did suggest that the third showing should be when Top Ender got home!

As a pre-bedtime treat, Top Ender and Baby Boy got to watch the episode together in the Den and Top Ender kept rewinding the video so that she could learn the words to the song that is sung! I think that this proves that it was a great hit in our house.

The episode can be seen on Saturday at 9am on Playhouse Disney (Sky 611, Virgin Media 727, UPC Ireland 616 and TalkTalk TV 303).
