Heinz Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar... and A Fried Egg!

We were sent a free bottle of the Heinz Tomato Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar to review.

One of the perks of being a blogger is that every so often a parcel arrives that you didn't expect. So when a black box tied up with red ribbon arrived at my house I was very keen to open it up and see what was inside. Inside was the new limited edition Heinz Tomato Ketchup with Balsamic Vinegar.

I was quite excited about it as we love Tomato Ketchup in our house, (using it as a secret ingredient, in bacon rolls, bullseye eggs or as fake blood on our Halloween food) and so thought that this would be a nice treat to have with some posh sausages, or even a bit of steak. The problem was my menu plan didn't have posh sausages or steak on it. Then Tim at Brining up Charlie tweeted about a sandwich he had just had full of fried egg and other yummy things and I knew what I had to make!

A Fried Egg Sandwich!

I can honestly say that was one of the best fried egg sandwiches I have ever had. I can never make my mind up if I like Ketchup or Brown Sauce better as I like the tomato of Ketchup but the spice/kick of Brown sauce. The balsamic vinegar makes the tomato ketchup have a kick a slight spice taste and that was just what I was after... well that and the fried egg taste!

Heinz has only made 1 million and 57 bottles of this new edition and while 3,000 have been made exclusively available for the Heinz Tomato Ketchup UK Facebook fans, the other 997,057 bottles won’t be available until the end of March... so if you want some you had better keep an eye out at the Supermarket!
