Show Off Your Label

Today (Monday 28th Feb) was the launch of Fairtrade Fortnight 2011, which is an annual event to give people like me (and you) more information on what buying Fairtrade means.

They are also running competitions everyday over on their facebook page encouraging supporters to "Show Off Your Label" and let everyone know about the Fairtrade Certification by taking part in daily challenges... The challenges are all about having fun so we here at A Mothers Ramblings are going to be taking part and we hope you will too!

Sony Walkman E450 - A Review

We were sent a Sony Walkman E450 to trial, but we didn't get to keep it

Just after Christmas Sony were kind enough to send me and Top Ender a Sony Walkman E450 to try out for a few days. When it came Top Ender was most upset that it was the blue version and not the pink one she had seen online. I reminded her it could be worse as they could of sent one of the other colours (Red, Green Black) and that it didn't really matter what colour as they all work the same!

Sony E450

I set about connecting it up to my Sony Vaio laptop and was slightly confused when it told me that I had disrupted it's connection when I hadn't been near it (Top Ender and Baby Boy hadn't either) and was already writing up a negative review in my head when I thought sod it I'll just start using it. I unplugged it and started listening to some of the tracks that were on the E450. There was nothing I recognised, but I loved that I could change the pitch of the music and started making use of the Karaoke function after listening to the songs for a bit. I don't really understand how it does it, but the E450 changes the audio settings so that the vocals are quieter and the backing track at a normal level meaning that Personal Karaoke is a lot of fun.

Personalised Books from Penwizard

I received a discount code for a free personalised book, but I have gone and brought a second book after I received the first book, as the books really are fab!

Every year my sister and I get together before Lent starts and discuss what we are going to do for Easter. We have a lot to plan, as not only do we need to plan the Easter Egg hunt, but we need agree what we are buying treat wise for each other's families, what we are going to spend, what type of treat we are buying and where we are going to go for our (now) annual Family Easter Day walk. We like to tell each other of bargains that we have seen and if we are straying from the "normal" treat of an Easter Egg what that treat is. This year I was very excited to tell her that I was going to be getting Baby Boy a personalised book from Penwizard instead of buying him an Easter Costume... after all he already has a cute Easter Costume!

Baby Boy dressed up as an Easter Chick

I decided to get a Peppa Pig book for Baby Boy, as he is Peppa Pig mad at the moment even wanting to be her when he grows up! Penwizard were kind enough to send me a voucher to get a free book and so I set about making the character that would represent Baby Boy in the book. You can choose from different hair styles as well as hair colours and you can choose the right skin tone and eye colour and even add glasses to the character!

Personalised Peppa Pig Book from Penwizard

I was worried Baby Boy wouldn't recognise himself as a Peppa Pig character, but I needn't of worried as he came over to see what I was going and asked "Why is Me and Peppa holding hands?" Seems to me that he has been thinking about what he would look like if he were a Peppa Pig Cartoon character!

I see Beautiful People...

I love these videos from Daily Mugshot, even though I don't see myself as someone who is particularly beautiful there are images in the video of me where I think that I look good, pictures where I think that my nature shines through, pictures where I think that others might think me attractive (other than my husband and he has to think I am beautiful as he is married to me) and that makes me happy.

The video of Top Ender is fantastic, she is so smiley and happy and I don't care what the little old ladies say... she does look like me... okay, okay and a lot like her Daddy. Top Ender has this amazing ability to laugh at herself and I love that this comes easily to her! She is so smart and self assured, if there is something that she wants she goes after it and this determination is going to do her good in the future. I am proud to be her Mummy.

I can't believe how much Baby Boy has changed, he has the same smile as Top Ender and me, the same nose, the same eyes and the same messy hair... poor kid. Don't get me wrong, he is similar to his Daddy too but Baby Boy is me in so many ways, we even share the same temper! He is so good natured, so friendly and inventive and I just can't wait to see what he becomes, how many more changes he will go though. I am proud to be his Mummy.

Banoffee Cupcakes (made in what seems a flash)

I was sent some free ingredients to try out a Banoffee Cupcake recipe from the Baking Mad website, they looked tasty and so I made some

They have a lot of recipes over at Baking Mad and I am quite often found reading the forum messages and scanning through the recipes to find something nice and new to make. The Baking Mad team thought I needed a bit of a challenge however and asked if I would be up for making the Banoffee Cupcakes.

I can't resist a challenge.

I'm having the Weekend with my Family

A Family Dinner

One of the most important things to me is family. Having my family with me, having time with them and being able to share a meal with them makes me happy. And so today I am going to spend some time and have some fun with my family.

Baby Boy eating Superfruity Shredded Wheat

We received two free boxes of cereal in order to review them.

Baby Boy and I were being very quiet downstairs at the weekend, letting Daddy and Top Ender have a nice long lay in. We had already had some breakfast and were playing nicely when the Postman brought us a surprise of two boxes of cereal the new Nestle Shredded Wheat Superfruity Blue & Black and the new Nestle Shredded Wheat Superfruity Red Berries.

Nestle Shredded Wheat Superfruity Blue & Black and Nestle Shredded Wheat Superfruity Red Berries

Copella Wedges

We got a free box of Copella Wedges but weren't required to review them, we just did because we loved them!

Baby Boy and I love apple juice, and we keep cartons in the car for when we are off out on a Family Fun Day Out. We find that storing them in the car keeps them nice and cool and handy for when we want them... normally in the middle of a traffic jam... I was very excited to see that Copella would be launching cartons of Copella Apple Juice perfect for storing in our car, in our fridge and under our stairs!

Baby Boy was dead excited when the Copella Wedges turned up in the post, I even tweeted that the Postman had brought us some as we were all really excited. Baby Boy and I quickly opened the packet up and had a wedge/carton each. It was the same Copella taste as the juice that you find in the chiller cabinets of the Supermarket which was fantastic as who doesn't like a fresh glass of apple juice?!

The RRP for the Copella Wedges is £2.49 for a pack of four and they are available from all supermarkets now.

My Weekly Shop And A Tesco Grocery Discount Voucher Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post as I received a voucher for money off my weekly shop in order to review the Tesco.com Delivery service and if you want to win one, keep on reading!

The weekly food shop is something which is important to me, and I know that sounds stupid to some people (*Cough* Daddy *Cough*) but for me it is a chance for me to prove myself as budget conscious housewife. It is a chance for me to plan healthy balanced meals for my family, to get snacks and treats for us and to try to get the most out of my weekly budget. I enjoy actually going to the supermarket about as much as I enjoy having dental surgery however.

Pippa having a wisdom tooth removed

Going to the Supermarket is just one of those things that we have to do as a family and we normally try to get it done as quickly as possible and so when Tesco's offered me a chance to try out ordering my shopping online and gave me a voucher for £50 off a £75 shop I thought it would be a great way to get out of doing the weekly shop...

A Family Birthday Meal

It's been a hectic evening as we went to celebrate Big Cousin's 4th Birthday at TGI Fridays. We all had a great laugh together, ate some pretty great food and were one of those annoying parties that you hate to be sitting near in restaurants because they are loud, move seats in order to talk to other people in the party and keep laughing at something that they all find hilarious.

I think there is something reassuring about eating with family, even extended family as this was. I wonder if it is linked back to times when we lived in tribes or just because I am a mother and like to make sure that everyone is eating. I suppose that all eating is ritualistic, and that having the added benefit of family members close just allows us that extra feeling of security.

Anyway we all had a really great time, and I took a video that is almost to funny to share... I just need to edit as it happened in the middle of a video recording and so is very long at the moment! To get you in the mood however here is a teaser photo;

Baby Boy Eating Cake

I shall post the video this weekend!

At The Car Wash

I love going through a Car Wash, I am not sure why. There is one of those car washes that you move through on a sort of conveyor belt near us, and when we went through it a few weeks back I decided that I would video it... So I thought that I would share it with you too!

I'm not the only one singing Car Wash now am I?

Did you know I am on YouTube?

I have had such a great day today. I haven't done a lot, just hung out with my family and had a great meal. Talked to friends and written some letters. Been for a walk and played some video games. Oh and watched a few videos of me either talking to myself or dancing in a video lift.

You can see them all at my You Tube channel and a lot of other videos including a car in a car wash too!

Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice

Top Ender and Baby Boy have had a bit of a thing about Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice at the moment. I think that it started because of Agent Oso getting a digimedal for helping two kids make some freshly squeezed Orange Juice for their Mom, but I have no idea why it has grown into something that they would continually ask about! Daddy and I decided that buying some large oranges and a Spritta Citrus Squeezer from Ikea might show them that freshly squeezed Orange juice every morning isn't as simple as it sounds.

The SPRITTA Citrus Squeezer from Ikea

We were wrong. They loved it.

I'm Bad. And not in a good way.

I am bad because I haven't been using the Xbox Your Shape Fitness as much as I should. It sounds like I am just making excuses doesn't it? Yeah, okay I get the point, I shall stop talking about it and start doing it.

A Healed Corneal Abrasion

When I went to the Sainsbury's Energy event I was asked a couple of times if Baby Boy was okay now as I hadn't said on the blog if the Corneal Abrasion had healed or if there were any further problems. Consider my wrists slapped, I promise not to not update you in the future!

Three days after we went to the hospital the first time, Baby Boy and I returned for his follow up appointment. I was slightly worried, because my friend Google had frightened me with tales of corneal degeneration (and as Baby Boy had had a similar event happen twice in two weeks to me it was a foregone conclusion that he had it) and I was just waiting for the bad news.

Baby Boy after having had dye in his eye to see the Corneal Abrasion aka scratched eye

As anyone who has been to any hospital in the past knows, parking at hospitals is a pain. In the car park next to the area of the hospital that I needed to go to there was only space available. It was a parallel parking space. Now Daddy taught me to parallel park before I took my driving test many years ago and I was fab at it... for my driving test at least! I hate parallel parking, but needs must and so I parked in this space. I wish that someone had been there to see this parking as it was a work of genius. Never has anyone parked as perfectly as I did that day!

We went into the Emergency Eye Clinic, where I was expecting a long wait, and there was nobody there. The receptionist greeted us by name, escorted us to the waiting area and went and let the Nurse and consultant know we were there! It was amazingly quick and although it wasn't the dishy Doctor, this Doctor managed to get Baby Boy to use the Slit Lamp without screaming and was able to have a good look into Baby Boy's eye and declare it well on the way to being healed!

So nothing to worry about... until next time that is!

A bad day made worse, then better, then more horrid!

After we had returned home to wait for the Doctor or Hospital to call us because of Baby Boy's Corneal Abrasion we were distracted by a dripping sound coming from the kitchen. Baby Boy and I walked into the Kitchen and we were greeted by a big puddle over the floor and it appeared to be coming from the cupboard under the sink. Whilst Baby Boy rushed to grab me a towel I gingerly opened the cupboard to see water everywhere!

Sainsbury's Energy: A New Partnership with British Gas

Baby Boy and I went on an adventure today.*

It started off as we saw Daddy and Top Ender off to work and School. Baby Boy started getting his bag ready, as mine was already packed (including a couple of changes of clothes for Baby Boy) and then together we started working our way around the house making sure that the lights were turned off, the computer was turned off, the TV was turned off, the heating was turned off... basically making sure everything was turned off and then we set off to walk to the Train Station. You might think that we were taking things to extremes by making sure everything was turned off before we left for the day, or even that we were sucking up to the Sainsbury's and British Gas Teams that we were going to see in London but this is a normal routine for us whenever we leave the house (for more than five minutes that is!). Daddy and I are very conscious about the amount of energy that our home uses, not just because of having to pay bills but because we are both very aware of our carbon footprint (It was a grand total of 4.44 tonnes last year) and we are trying to reduce that.

A Carbon Footprint

Things to do with Bubble Wrap - Dancing on Bubble Wrap!

Baby Boy and I have been getting a lot of parcels over the last few days, and every package has had Bubble Wrap keeping the products safe whilst in transport. We decided that we should have some fun by playing with the bubble wrap, but we weren't sure what to do for the most fun! So we decided to do a bit of everything and film it! So I present to you our first video Dancing on Bubble Wrap!

I know you can't wait to see what else we have been doing with the bubble wrap right?

The End for Magazines

When I was younger (my early teens) I would always buy More because I thought it was so grown up, I mean there was a feature about Sex every issue! As I got older there were a few magazines that I would buy, but as I worked in a Newsagents for many years I normally used the place as a library and read them whilst I was working! Of course I do have a rather large pile of Gardening magazines, Food Magazines and Christmas Magazines that I have had as gift subscriptions over the years and I do occasionally pick up magazines that are work related (need to keep up to date with the industry) and I always pick up the free magazines in Supermarkets, but the last time that I actually brought a magazine for me to read? Well, I think it was one that I was in... and that was a good couple of years ago!

Making Chores Fun - Doing The Dishes

Making Chores Fun isn't just about making it more enjoyable for me to do the chores, or even to keep Baby Boy or Top Ender amused whilst I do the chores and its not even to help my children to learn how to do chores, (although all three of those things happen). It's also about playing and learning about cause and effect and this is why I love when Top Ender and Baby Boy want to help out with doing the dishes.

Where is my Passion?

What a day to be talking about Passion eh? Valentines Day, a day to celebrate the love and affection between Friends/Family Members/Lovers/Partners/Enter Own Description Here. I do like Valentines day, not because it is a day that my husband tells me that he loves me, (he does that everyday and doesn't need to do anything special to show me), not because Top Ender wrote me a special note on the blackboard to tell me I was her Valentine, not because of any of the promotions that the shops do (although it is nice to see Chocolates on offer!) but because it is a day that I can look at my friends and family and realise how lucky I am to have them in my life. That is where the trouble started this year though. Looking at my friends and family I realised that I am the only one that isn't full of passion.

A Corneal Abrasion

Baby Boy woke up at 5am screaming that his eyes hurt and that he wanted "MUMMMMMMY!" I managed to calm him down and get him to lay in his bed, with me gently stroking his face to calm him down. Just after 6am Baby Boy woke up again and Daddy took him downstairs. Every so often I could hear Baby Boy shouting that his eye was still hurting and even though he was in fine spirits we knew something was wrong and so I called for an early morning appointment at our local Doctor's Surgery.

I'm Meme-5h1tt1ng-tastic don't you know.

Bloggers are a pretty sadistic bunch. I mean we are constantly looking at ourselves and comparing ourselves to each other in things like the Tots 100 (I'm 15th you know), Wikio (I'm 23rd there), award ceremonies (I won the bit I was a finalist in you know), our own Statistics and goodness knows what else that I don't keep track of, because I don't know about it! We compare ourselves, we track ourselves and then we tag each other in Meme's that cause serious damage to our eyes. Like this one which the oh so lovely Nickie at Typecast graciously passed on to me because she can't be bothered to read the amazing blog posts that I have been writing and she thinks this makes it alright. There wasn't even a bloody rainbow.

A rainbow would of made it all better.

I could describe what this badge looks like or I could just tell you Nickie is going to get it at Cybermummy

When I grow up I want to be...

Peppa Pig!

Not sure how realistic a goal that is though...

Too much Simpsons - Baby Boy Giggles

"Top Ender do you want to practice your Violin before School?" I asked
"Okay!" answered Top Ender

It was the first time that Daddy has really heard Top Ender play with the bow, the last time it had just been random plucking of the strings and so he stayed in the living room listening to Top Ender playing the Hoe Down. Baby Boy was sitting on the sofa listening patiently. After Top Ender had finished her piece of music, she started to put the violin away. Baby Boy started to get upset as he was sure that this time, having sat some quietly whilst Top Ender played, having not fussed that he too would get a go on Top Ender's Violin.

Baby Boy Sitting Nicely on the Sofa

His bottom lip started to wobble, his eyes filled with tears and he shouted;

"I WANTED TO PLAY ON TOP ENDER'S VIO-MA-LIN!"
"Viomalin?" I repeated
"Saxo-ma-phone!" said Daddy
"I WANTED TO PLAY ON TOP ENDER'S VIO-MA-LIN!" howled Baby Boy again

I know I have said it before, but we really need to stop watching The Simpsons!

A Year in Brambly Hedge - A Review

When I was little I read all the time. My Mum had taught me to read long before I started school and so we had regular trips to the library to expose me to new books and new worlds. I remember when we moved that I had a collection of books called Brambly Hedge, I had been given Book Tokens for Christmas one year and I had enough to buy them all. I was so excited, these were special books, books about Mice and they were perfect for my vivid imagination with the pictures that were so detailed, but still left enough for me to dream my own ideas too.

$#*! My Husband Says Or a Chance to Win Wine!

Last year I had a bit of a giggle on Twitter, when I asked everyone to guess what was making me excited, with the closest guess winning a bar of Chocolate. The event making me excited was the arrival of my magic package from Simply Be containing my dress for The MADS award ceremony last September, where I won the Best MAD Blog for Family Fun, (don't think I have mentioned that one for a while...) and I thought that what might be fun is if I had another little twitter/blog comment competition for those of you interested and this time the prizes are a little more exciting!

MADs 2010 Family Fun Winners Badge

A few weeks ago Daddy was doing his usual downloading random iphone apps and thought it would be good fun to download an app called Sleep Talk Recorder, because I talk in my sleep. Funnily enough it records the noises you make whilst you are asleep. For the last month or so any noise made 40 minutes after we go to bed is recorded. This has made for a lot of sound recordings of creaking beds as we turn over, the odd night time mumble from me, a lot of synchronised snoring, Baby Boy shouting for one or the other of us and the occasional conversation between Daddy and I.

Something that we weren't expecting though was hearing Daddy talking in his sleep... once but it totally counts.

Bottlegreen Elderflower Cordial Shortbread and a Review of sorts

The first time I drank Elderflower Cordial was at a Sunday Lunch at a friends house, when I was about 16. I thought the stuff was lovely and on and off since then I have drank plenty of different brands but had never done anything else with it. Last week I was sent some recipes which used Bottlegreen Elderflower cordial in making shortbread and the very lovely people at Bottlegreen sent me some cordial to make some of the shortbread with.

A Bottle of Bottlegreen Elderflower Cordial

As the Mother in Law was coming to join us for the Sunday Roast I decided that along with Baby Boys New Years Day Cookies that I would also attempt to make the Elderflower Shortbread as a form of pudding. I had already made some Elderflower Shortbread in a sheet during the week intending to add some icing to it before anyone started eating it. Daddy however didn't read the memo and ate most of it so I knew that I was going to have to be quick with adding icing to the biscuits this time! Luckily Top Ender decided that she would come and give me a hand and so we were able to keep Daddy out of the kitchen as we cut the biscuits and baked them.

Fabulous Bakin’ Boys Fruit ‘n’ Oat slices - A Review

Baby Boy, Top Ender and I were sent some Fabulous Bakin’ Boys Fruit ‘n’ Oat slices to review. It is the sort of thing that Top Ender and I would fight over who got to eat the last one (it would be an unfair fight as I can never normally say No to Tops!) and so I was excited to try them. Having read about them, they seemed a little too good to be true. They contain fruit and oats and are lunch box sized, which means that they will fit nicely in the bottom of my coat pocket or handbag for a sneaky treat for Baby Boy and Top Ender when we are out and about.

Grandpa in My Pocket DVD Winner

The winner of the Grandpa in my Pocket Mr Marvelleso's Magic Tricks DVD is Octarinefire!

And if you didn't win, then don't forget that the DVD is available to buy as of today and with over 70minutes of his adventures it is a really good buy!

A Ponyo Inspired Meal

We adore watching Studio Ghibli films and as you can see from last weeks mention of film themed days for the Half Term Holiday, we like to make watching the films a little more special, by theming our snacks and meals too. The first time that Top Ender and Baby Boy watched Ponyo they were enthralled as the film is so magical and so we knew that we had to buy it for them to watch again and again. There is a scene in the film where, Lisa (who is Sosuke's mother) makes Ponyo and Sosuke a meal. The meal is noodles, egg, ham and slices of spring onion and Baby Boy and Top Ender love to eat then when they are watching Ponyo too!

Tunes 4 Toddlers Tantrums - A Review

I asked if I could review the Tunes 4 Toddlers Tantrums CD created by Victoria Arlidge as before Christmas Baby Boy was starting to show his independence but was sometimes deciding to just take things up a notch and refusing to do a few things like brushing his hair or putting on his shoes. It was getting us both frustrated and I was starting to worry that the birds nest on top of his head was going to be a permanent feature.

Making Chores Fun - Cleaning The Car

Most days it is just Baby Boy and I at home (as Top Ender is at School and Daddy is at work) and we have a long list of chores that we like to try to get done in a fun way. There are of course chores that we might not get done during the day, but end up doing after School like Cleaning the Stairs but it's still fun trying to fit chores around playing trains, drawing and watching Cartoons. One chore that we don't do as regularly as we should, but have great fun doing when we do get round to it is Cleaning the Car! In the winter, we tend to not wash the car ourselves (we like to have fun but we aren't stupid, it's freezing out there!) but we do like to clean the inside of the car!

The first thing that we pretend is that the car is a treasure chest by opening up all the car doors and going round to each seat in turn to pick up any rubbish or toys that may have been left in the car. We use a carrier bag for the rubbish, and another bag for treasures! After we have done this Baby Boy will climb in and around the car, whilst I start hoovering the car.

Jamie Oliver At Home - A Giveaway

Jamie Oliver is a bit of a Food Hero of mine, it seems to me that he makes "proper" food, the sort of thing that I cook for my family. We have a cook book of his (I think it was his first one) and it has inspired Daddy to make a very lovely curry (although it did call for a lot of ingredients that we didn't have) and my sister has his 30 minutes meals book, which I have flicked through and saw again that there is a lot of "proper" cooking in there. I have watched his Jamie at Home series on TV and have picked up a few tips and so when The Sun Buzz (the magazine that comes with The Sun Newspaper on a Saturday) asked if I would like a set of the DVD's that it will be giving away with the paper this week I thought it would be great.

The cardboard sleeved DVD's of Jamie Oliver at Home from The Sun

Knowing that a lot of my readers would also be interested, but might not be able to get to Tesco's to redeem the vouchers everyday I asked if I could have a second set to give away and The Buzz team kindly agreed and I have them here ready for you! To be in with a chance to win all you have to do is to leave a comment below telling me what your signature meal is (or what you wish it could be!) and if you really want to make me feel loved then you can invite me round to share the meal with you!

This will close on the 10th February at 7am and is open to UK residents only.

I didn't think I was that boring - Mummy Giggles

I am sure that I am not the only person in the world who when they are watching TV multi-tasks and also plays on the internet. This was what was happening last Sunday when I was watching PS I Love you and I saw a Facebook update from my sister that made me want to call her. When on the phone we chatted about the issue which was making her feel bad and then I decided to cheer her up by sharing some funny stories that had happened since we had spoken last.

A Technorati Claim

ZPKRDJETJ7P4

Yup Technorati needs me to yet again tell it that I am who I am and that this here blog belongs to me. Well it does so they can say YAY! and then hopefully I won't have to tell them again... this year at least.

Now because I know you are reading this even though you don't need to be I thought I would share with you a little tiny request....

I know that you read my blog, I think that you might even enjoy it. Why do I think this? Well I see on the number of page views going up everyday and I see the number of subscribers on Google Reader going up.

So what am I going to ask you? Well I would love it if you could make sure that I am in your google reader, I would love it if you could leave me a comment on even just one blog post a week just to let me know that you enjoyed the post, or if you agree (or disagree!), or if you have a further point to make!

Also this month I have a cupcake giveaway. So a sneaky tip for you, the winner of this giveaway is going to be someone who leaves a comment on a blog post... I'm just not going to tell you which blog post yet!

Well that's enough from me. Don't forget if you read this post to let me know in the comments and maybe you could even tell me what flavour cupcakes you want!

Grandpa in my Pocket Themed Day Ideas and a Give-Away!

In case you missed it, earlier this week I talked about my Film Themed Days for the February Half Term and as Top Ender and Baby Boy loved our preview copy of Grandpa in my Pocket Mr Marvelleso's Magic Tricks so much I asked if I could give one away so that I could share some ideas for a Grandpa in my Pocket Themed Day!

Grandpa in my Pocket DVD

We had been given a copy of the DVD to review and Top Ender and Baby Boy both love it, just like they do the TV Show, it has the same magic formula where when Grandpa (played by James Bolam) puts on his Magic Shrinking Cap, that he shrinks and can help out with the problems that Jason and his friends or family are currently experiencing.

The New Rowse Honey Campaign and pictures of Cakes!

Like many fellow Bloggers today I received a fab box of cakes from Rowse Honey to promote the new TV and Digital media Campaign that they are launching. At the Summer Party the staff filmed their own adverts about Rowse Honey, with the plan that they would then ask the Public to vote via the Rowse Honey Facebook Fan Page for their favourite advert, the winner of which would be shown in April as part of their new campaign.

Things to do in the February Half Term - Film Theme Days

I am determined that this February Half Term Holiday is not going to be full of the usual comments such as "I'm Bored" or "What can I do?", that's right I have a list of things that we can do this half term that don't cost a lot, keep all ages amused and can be done if it is raining! Yes, I am a woman with a plan and I thought I would share my day themed ideas with you so that you can use them just in case you need something to do during Half Term. I am guessing that the weather isn't always going to be in my favour (seeing as we live in the Britain and it's still Winter not Spring) so I have planned things that will be indoors, but with some outside time or exercise linked in so that the children can burn off some energy!
