Yesterday Big Boy fell asleep on the way home from having picked up supplies for our afternoon Indoor Jubilee Picnic. Whilst he and I stayed in the car (he needed a little doze as he was grumpy and I fancied a bit of peace and quiet!) Daddy and Top Ender decided to finish off working on the 4M Girls Craft Felt Art Frame we had been sent. Tops and I had already pushed all the pieces of felt out of the sheets and she and Daddy had placed all the pieces in place on the frame ready to glue in place before BB accidentally knocked the table they were on in a rather energetic Wii game and sent them flying...
When we came back in from the car, Tops was really excited to show me what she and Daddy had done in making the frames but she was full of complaints about the project. Apparently the felt was rather absorbent when it came to sticking the felt together and they had to use a lot to get the pieces to stick. They had then used a book as suggested to weigh down the felt pieces, but found that the glue just caused the pieces to stick to the book rather than to the other pieces of felt.
The thing is the felt frames actually look really cute and I can't wait to put some pictures in them and put them up in Top Enders room. I guess I was just lucky that I wasn't the one who had to glue them together and suffer all the problems with trying to get them to stick so I can appreciate them for being pretty rather than fiddly.
We were sent the Felt Art Frame to review. Daddy says he isn't making another one.
