Even though my sister lives less than twenty minutes away, I love stalking her Facebook page. Unlike me, she is much better about uploading pictures and videos of her family which means I feel a lot closer to my nieces despite not seeing them everyday. A couple of weeks back she posted a really lovely picture of her and her girls and I remember thinking that it would be a lovely picture to have blown up and put on one of her walls.
Then stepped in the lovely people at Hello Canvas, who asked if I would like to put it on a canvas for her. A quick call to my sister asking if I could have the original photo for my own collection and I sent it off to be made into a 20x28inch/50x70cm canvas just before we went away on a family holiday. I asked if they would crop the image where needed and to have the image wrapped around the sides and they said this was no problem.
In the mean time I went away to Paris for three days and upon returning saw that I had a missed parcel. I didn't think that it could possibly be the Canvas, but it seems that the staff at Hello Canvas have a rather quick turn around as if you order before 4pm it's delivered within 3 working days. The packaging of the canvas was superb, for free delivery I was expecting the minimum, but the canvas was in a special protective sleeve and in a sturdy cardboard box too.
Looking at the Canvas I was really impressed. The original image was taken on a phone camera, and the canvas image was good quality and very clear - I kept joking with my family as there are certain parts of my sister that were very prominent in the image!
I took the canvas round to my sister last week, she was very pleased to have such a lovely canvas to hang but wasn't sure where it would go at that moment, so I placed it on the dining table to keep it safe. As you can see it was well admired by Smallest Cousin
I'm quite jealous of the canvas so will be looking to see if I can find a nice picture of BB, Tops and I to be put on to canvas and go up in our house somewhere!
