With Big Boy starting School in the next few days (*sob*) I've been trying to make sure that he is ready and will be able to flourish at school. When Galt asked if we'd like to review one of their games I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to practice some of the skills that he would use at School and so choose "While The Cats Away" for us to play.
The game concept is really simple, you spin the spinner and depending upon what number it lands on depends upon which card you pick up. This is great as it helps children recognise that the number 6 is the same as the picture of Six Mice.
We've played it everyday since it arrived, because it is a lot of fun and even though you are doing the same thing every time you play it varies every time because you don't spin the same number. It's really helping BB practice his numbers and his reading.
Now we just need to find a game that helps him listen to me when he's having a strop!
We were sent the game to review. I was cheeky and also asked for a Travel Sticker book for BB and Tops to share whilst we were away in Paris too.
