The year before I was born a TV show started, it was a soap opera that revolved around a family called The Ewings and as I grew up I was sure that this family was the epitome of Wealth, Southern Hospitality and Glamour and everything that I wanted to be when I grew up. I'm pretty sure I never understood all of the plots of the show and that there was a lot that went over my head, but I have very fond memories of the show and the characters and I was really excited when I heard that there was going to be a new series of Dallas!
I was even more excited when Warner Brothers sent me the complete first and second seasons of Dallas as a box set so that I could relive some of the earlier moments of Dallas that I wouldn't have remembered seeing as how I was only a baby. I've been watching the box set in dribs and dabs when I have a spare half hour or so because it's the sort of thing that is perfect for dipping in and out of when I have the time.
In case you are after watching the earlier seasons of Dallas so that you can know what all the back story is and just why JR is why he is like he is then you can buy the box set. I found it for £11.84 on Amazon and I'm sure you might find it elsewhere!
I was sent the DVD Box set by Warner Brothers, which was really nice of them and I hope they know that I love them loads for it!
