You can't have failed to notice that most of the world has a bit of an obsession with Vampires. Glittery ones, ones that drink fake blood and ones that are apparently really really sexy. One of my Cousins is always talking about The Vampire Diaries and so when I was offered a copy of the complete first season to watch at home I thought that it would be a great way to get into the series and catch up on what I've been missing out on.
With Big Boy at School I sat down to watch it during the day and devoured the show over a couple of days. Honestly I'm not a teenage girl, but it started off a little like Buffy (remember her? She started this Vampire craze you know!) and like some of the episodes is more about romance and life than "I Vant To Suck Your Blood!" which I must admit I got really excited about and had to keep watching.
It was only when I realised that I was writing Mrs Pippa Somerhalder all over my rather lovely new notepad and thought I had probably better stop watching the DVD for a bit and so that's what I've done... until my new purchase of the seasons two and three arrive that is!
