What We're Eating W/C 28th July 2018

Is it just me or has the first week of the holiday flown by? Luckily, I am fairly up to date with what is happening in the world (Alexa give me the headlines every morning) and so am still aware of the day and date... Hopefully, I won't lose this ability by the end of the School Holidays!

Lots of Family Fun ahead!

Saturday - BBQ!

We're having a BBQ today to celebrate my Mother In Laws Birthday, we've invited my Sister in law and her family to come and join us, and my Sister in Law has wonderfully agreed to make a Gluten-Free Birthday cake for us too!

Sunday - Munch and Mingle

When our wards merged, one of the first questions the Primary children asked me was "Will we have a Munch and Mingle soon?". I'm glad to say that the answer was yes.

Not sure what I'm taking, but most likely a Quiche!

Monday - Pizza

We love Pizza in our house, and it's so quick and easy to make so we're having it tonight!

Tuesday - Meatballs

I'm not sure if I will do these in a Swedish style, Italian or what is known in our house as Munch and Mingle style, but what I do know is that they will all be eaten!

Wednesday - Sweet Potato, Kale and Prawn Stir Fry... sort of

I don't think it is a stir fry, but I'm not sure. Basically, I wilt the Kale in my Wok or one of my large frying pans, and add in the Sweet Potato and Prawns which have previously been roasted in some herbs and possibly garlic.

I'm pretty sure the only person who will be happy with this meal is me.

Thursday - Beef and Noodles

I saved a recipe on Facebook ages ago. You add some cubed beef to mushroom sauce, onions, chopped mushrooms and I'm sure something else and then slow cook all day. Then just before serving you add the noodles (pre cooked!) and stir and serve.

Friday - Kielbasa Hash

So, when I asked for different meal suggestions this was suggested. Kielbasa is a Polish Sausage and freakyily Flyfour and I had picked some up just the day before to see what it was!

We're excited to try it!
