What We Are Eating W/C 30th November 2019

Apologies for the lack of posts recently! I've been so busy with work and trying to be a good Mum and wife that I've not had time to blog, which is a shame because I like blogging and I have a lot to tell everyone! Anyway, a quick and easy post to start with...

PippaD and Tulips

Saturday - Steak, Potato Gratin, Garlic Mushrooms and Peas

I really wanted some Steak, so told Flyfour that was what we were having. Instead of having it with chips and beans as he likes, I've also informed him we'll be having my favourite sides, a creamy potato gratin, garlic mushrooms and peas (which Flyfour really doesn't like but I DO!).

Top Ender is away with the Guides this weekend, so as Dan Jon doesn't like Steak, we'll get him something he does like, Sausages.

Sunday - Lasagne and Garlic Bread

We love a good lasagne, and I figured that seeing as every time we make one, we end up making a second one, we'll make one today and have a second one in the future.

Monday - Soup and Toasties

Meatless Monday means Soup and Toasties this week.

Tuesday - Christmas Meal out

A few years ago, Dan Jon and I started a tradition that we would go out for a Christmas meal together, because Top Ender would have one with the Rainbows and Guides and Flyfour had one with work and us? We had nothing!

This year we've got Flyfour coming with us because he happens to be home tonight and Top Ender is with the Rainbows.

Wednesday - Christmas Meal out/Sausage and Mash

Tonight, Top Ender and I are out with the Brownies for their Christmas Meal and so Dan Jon is having Sausage and Mash.

Thursday - Pesto Pasta

I'm going to make Pesto Pasta this evening, and add in some vegetables and if the children are lucky, maybe some Chicken!

Friday - Pizza

A quick and easy meal tonight, mainly because I wanted to make Salmon but also didn't want to go shopping after work!

And so that is what we are eating this week! How about you?
