What We Are Eating This Week W/C 14 November

I decided a couple of weeks ago it was better for me to sort out the meal plans in one go, because with me being on a diet (I know, I keep talking about it) I didn't want to be thinking too much about food!

This is what we are eating this week!

Saturday - Cowboy Casserole

I love Cowboy Casserole, because all it is, is Sausages and Beans! I'll serve them with wedges. Or rather Daddy will because I'll be hiding upstairs wishing I could have the meal too.

Sunday - Lasagne

The Children love Lasagne and are pretty fab at making it too. I'll help the Children put it together before we go out to Church and then all Daddy will have to do is put it in the oven when I give him a quick text to let him know we are on our way.

I am almost always late home from Church!

Meatless Monday - Mac and Cheese with Onion Rings

Big Boy reminded me the other day that Onion Rings are really, really lovely and so could I add them to the meal plan soon. I decided I'd add them to the Mac and Cheese tonight because I'm going to add a crumb topping to the Mac and Cheese and the Onion Rings I have in the freezer (I hate making them) are crumbed!

Tuesday - Soup and Toasties

I have some lovely Soup that I made in the freezer, waiting for someone to eat it. Tonight the Children and Daddy will get that pleasure! I'll make Toasties at the same time for them as everyone loves dipping a Cheese Toastie into Tomato soup right?

Wednesday - Meal out with my Mum

Again, this week I have no idea where we'll be eating. Sorry, where the Children will be eating.

Thursday - Garlic and Mushroom Bakes with Jacket Potatoes

The Children are having a third veggie meal this week... please don't tell them or they'll have figured out my major plan that I'm secretly turning them into Vegetarians!

Friday - Fish Cakes and Grated Carrot Salad

I thought that as the Fish Cakes have potato in them, that the best side dish would be something simple and tasty. So I have decided to do a Carrot Salad. I'll grate some carrots, add some chopped apple and some raisins. Loads of veg and tasty too!
