What We Are Eating W/C 1st February 2020

Well, if you read my post yesterday, you'd know that there is pretty much nothing happening on the meal plan this week, as I'm just ensuring I'm buying a lot of milk to go with the cereal we'll be eating each night! The only exception will be Saturday and Sunday, where we will eat a meal together and so we may eat cereal at lunchtime instead of in the evening.

Who knows, maybe we'll be doing this every night from now on... Yeah, probably not!

A lovely Summery Salad from Last February

Saturday - Pizza

As a family we love Pizza, but tonight I'm trying Top Ender on a dairy-free Pizza as we aren't sure if she is actually still allergic to milk (she was when she was a toddler, but we assumed she had grown out of it as she stopped reacting to dairy products) and so we figured we'd try this month with some almond or soy milk for her and we'd start with a dairy-free pizza tonight!

Sunday - Rainbow Salmon and Vegetables

This was one of my most favourite meals from last February, I oven-baked the Salmon and the vegetables with just a little oil and then served with a honey mustard sauce on the Salmon.

I can't remember if the family like it as much as I did, but I do the meal planning, so I get to pick!

Monday to Friday - Cereal

It's not like we even have to eat it cold, we can heat up the milk and have it warm, we can have any variety (or knowing my children any combination of cereals in one bowl) that we have in the cereal drawer and we can follow it up with or even start it off with a bowl of fruit, or a few pieces of fruit or even veggie sticks. Heck, I'll even allow slices of toast with the cereal if that is what the children want!

So that's what we are eating in the next week.
