What We Are Eating W/C 30th May 2020

We're almost at the end of the month, and I don't know about you but I think it has been one of the nicest Mays I remember. It's not just been the weather or even the extra family time. For me, it's been a month of discovery both of skills, (I've done some great artwork) new hobbies (Gardening) and leg muscles. I have some seriously great calves at the moment thanks to the two-mile daily walks Flyfour and I have been going on!

Anyway, here's what we're eating this week!

a view of the garden from a few months ago, no plants just trees and grass and painted woodwork

Saturday - Poutine

I find it rather amusing that most people with a Dairy intolerance seem to ignore that and eat as much cheese as they can. Like my daughter, who requested Poutine for our evening meal despite knowing it will give her stomach cramps and she doesn't care!

Sunday - Sticky Sausages

One of our favourite meals, and Flyfour luckily loves cooking it. We'll be eating it with some kind of potato (probably mash) and some veg. If we can Flyfour on side, we might even be able to have an Apple Crumble to go with it after!

Monday - Eat well for Less Microwave Tomato Risotto

I love this, the children tolerate it and Flyfour just puts up with it. I can't wait to make it!

Tuesday - Chicken and Salad

Poor old Dan Jon a carb free meal for him, lucky old me and Flyfour one of our favourite meals and I'll make sure to just give iceberg lettuce to Top Ender and she'll be happy.

Wednesday - Taco's

TACO'S! I'm excited because I love Taco's.

Thursday - Chicken Fajita's

Right, so it seems a bit weird that we're having two Mexican-ish meals in a row, but it's because I LOVE these two dishes and so we're having them and sod anyone who disagrees!

Friday - Salmon with Noodles

I really wanted to have Salmon, I don't think we've had enough fish in the last few weeks, and so I figured some Noodles with some peppers, carrot ribbons and if I can manage it courgette ribbons and spring onions with some Pan fried Salmon (or maybe done on the BBQ if it's still nice weather) will keep me happy!
